Size guide: How to measure your ring size

There are different ways of specifying ring sizes in different parts of the world and even within Sweden. At Gold of Sweden, we use EU sizes, which means that we measure the circumference on the inside of the ring. Another common way of measuring is to specify the inner diameter of the ring. See oursize chart to convert between the different measurement methods.
If you are unsure about your ring size, you can order a free ring sizer from us. Follow the link and fill in your details, and we will send the sizer to you within a couple of days. Our ring sizers are very reliable and usually work well for finding the right size. However, if it is not the right size, we will always resize your ring free of charge once you have tried it at home.
When measuring your size with our ring sizer, please keep the following in mind:
- The size of your finger may vary slightly depending on whether you are warm or cold, whether it is morning or evening, etc. Therefore, please try the measurement at different times.
- The ring gauge should fit comfortably on your finger but should NOT be able to slide over your knuckle!
- Bear in mind that the feel differs somewhat between narrow and wide rings; a wider ring (4-8 mm) often requires a slightly larger size than a narrower model (1-3 mm), which slips on and off more easily. This is good to keep in mind if you are unsure between two sizes!
